  • Bachelors of Science degree in Music Therapy at USU in 2001
  • Started teaching Preschool in 2007
  • Member of American Festival Chorus from Fall 2008- Fall 2010
  • Has four children-- ages 10, 8, 5, 3
  • Served in church calling for five years working with children ages 3-12 (Primary music leader and Primary Presidency)
  • Took the Spaulding Reading and Writing Course at Thomas Edison School and uses her knowledge in this daily with her children and preschool students
  • Studied the piano for over 28 years
  • Music Therapist at a preschool in Logan, UT for two years
  • Superviser for Utah State Music Therapy Program-working in the Elementary Special Education school setting, preschool, and Sound Beginnings Program.  
  • Have taught piano lessons for 15 years to children ages 3-14 
  • Suzuki Trained Piano Teacher in Book 1 and Book 2
  • Piano Teacher for over 20 years
  • Plays the Piano, Guitar, Ukulele, Flute, Organ, and loves to sing
  • Currently helping her children learn the violin, flute, bass and piano
  • Enjoys Camping with her family and running and dancing for exercise
  • Loves to learn and is open to new ideas and ways to teach
  • Believes all children are special and deserve the love and attention they need to learn and grow to become independent and happy adults.
